Hi, I’m Nicole. I’m so happy you’re here!
Counselling is exhilarating, empowering and inspiring – and can be messy, vulnerable and painful at the same time. My aim is to be with you through all of it.
I’ve worked around the world with people from all different cultures, backgrounds and faiths and am driven by a genuine curiosity of how others function based on their worldview. I have developed a sensitivity to working with diverse audiences at different stages of life through experiences with palliative care patients in a major Canadian hospital, high achieving university students in the Middle East, and clients struggling with relationships on a remote island in the South Pacific. One thing that unites us all is our pursuit for health and happiness, authentic connection with others and the desire to achieve personal goals.
Using my knowledge in Western Psychology gained through a Masters in Counselling Psychology, I help people face and work to overcome their own suffering, achieve meaningful goals and strengthen relationships. I’m a Canadian Certified Counsellor and completed a Fertility Counselling post-graduate course in 2020 in order to better serve clients struggling with infertility and undergoing assisted reproductive therapies.
Seeking out a counsellor changed my life. Looking back, I can see how the decision to get help and dig deeper propelled me through an exhausting and scary process into a new era of self-knowledge, forgiveness and acceptance of myself. I know it can do the same for you.
You are the master of your life. As your counsellor, I can offer you the opportunity to look at alternative viewpoints of your issues and make suggestions for change that are gentle, progressive, sustainable and realistic.
I use deep listening coupled with straightforward questioning to explore what you truly desire. I look forward to working with you when you’re ready to take the plunge!
